Better to use US Dollar as mode of payment in Siem Reap. But Cambodian Riel will also work.

*Four Thousand (4,000) Riel is the standard for One (1) US Dollar in majority of the establishments

 

2. BRING CASH FROM YOUR COUNTRY (Ex. US DOLLAR) or BRING DEBIT CARD 💱

Both will be ok. Just be mindful that there will be charge for the international withdrawal.

 

3. BE PREPARE TO BUY DRINKING WATER 🍸

No Service Water in the Restaurants. So better buy for your own.

 

4. TRY CAMBODIAN FOODS 🍜 🍚

Cambodian Cuisine is something to try. Try “Amok”, a popular Khmer Dish. Exotic foods are being sold in the street food such as Tarantula and Scorpion.

 

5. ALWAYS BRING YOUR PASSPORT/VISA 🛂✈

There are times that you need to present a valid Passport/Visa (If Applicable).

Don’t forget to secure a sun protection (Lotion, Sunglasses and Hats), bottled water and comfy shoes. Siem Reap is more about climbing and walking especially in Temple Adventure.
