1. Magellan’s Cross

Cebu’s renowned landmark located next to the Sto Niño Church.

 

2. Basilica de Sto. Niño

It is considered as the Oldest Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines and home of the Sto. Niño de Cebu. The belfry of the church was damaged during the 7.2 magnitude quake in 2013 and has been restored.

3. Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral

The church is a walking distance from Magellan’s Cross and Fort San Pedro. It attracts photo enthusiast for its wide and magnificent white-washed facade.

4. Colon Street

A Historical Street known to be the Philippine’s Oldest and the shortest national road.

 

5. The Heritage of Cebu Monument

A historical display of cebu’s rich history located along the Colon Street.

 

HOW TO GET THERE: All places stated above are located in the heart of the City

6. Fort San Pedro

It is the oldest and the smallest fort in the country. You can tour the whole area for 30 mins up to 1 hour.

HOW TO GET THERE: Fuerte de San Pedro is located in front of Plaza Independencia in pier area of Cebu City. A walking distance from Magellan’s Cross.

HOW TO GET THERE (for Sirao Flower Garden and Temple of Leah): From any point in Cebu City, get to JY Square and hire a Habal-Habal (local term for single motorcycle) for a negotiable price from 150 to 300. You may include Sirao Garden, Tops Lookout and Temple of Leah in the one package.

10. Taoist Temple

HOW TO GET THERE: Ride a taxi or get to JY Square Mall (the same mall mentioned for Sirao and Temple of Leah) and hire a habal-habal to bring you to the entrance of Beverly Hills Subdivision. Public vehicles are not allowed inside so you have to walk from the gate to the temple.

ENTRANCE FEE:  Worshipers and non-worshipers are free to enter.
